Like many in the vintage game, Sharna turned her op-shopping and vintage obsessions into a side hustle. Becoming a regular market fixture in 2018, Rad.est Vintage has grown exponentially since!

Rad.est draws on the nostalgia of femme teen culture from the 90s and 00s. As a 16 year old in the year 2000, Sharna curates the wardrobe teenage her would’ve dreamt of full of low rise jeans, vintage surfwear and the cutest girly tops, each item is handpicked to perfection!

Having a vintage collector Aunt, Sharna caught the vintage bug at a very young age. With many vintage heads adopting hoarding tendencies, Sharna simply had to cut down her collection and thus, Rad.est was born!

Like many, Sharna’s favourite part of running Rad.est is the process of sourcing each item, and seeing their journey into each person’s wardrobe.

Sharna finds that her customer demographic is usually 16-25 year old girls. While Rad.est does stock a range of vintage menswear, its the girly pops who appreciate Rad.est’s curation the most.

You can find Rad.est Vintage in store at My Dead Grandpa as well as at markets and pop ups around Adelaide.
