Jeanette Luke, owner of From Here to Eternity, is a veteran of the vintage game. Vintage clothing has been Jeanette’s forte since starting her collection at just nine years old. By the time she was 19 in 1969, Jeanette had opened up shop within Sydney’s original Paddy’s market – Grandpa surely copped a few of Jeanette’s pieces back in the day.
Since her start in the vintage arena, Jeanette has traded in stores across the country in spots like Newcastle, Uranga, and various locations around Adelaide.
Within the last 30 years, Jeanette has focused her efforts on the film industry, supplying vintage clothing to movie sets and dressing extras.
From Here to Eternity slings only the truest of vintage for those who appreciate the styles of eras past.
With pieces ranging in age from the 1930s to the 1980s, walking into From Here to Eternity’s space is like stepping back in time.
Jeanette takes the time to clean and fully restore all of her pieces, ensuring these decades-old items can live to see many more lifetimes.
Jeanette understands that vintage does not simply cater to one kind of person. In order to bring vintage to the masses, From Here to Eternity promises comparably reasonable prices and high-quality items to keep its customer base loyal and ever-growing.
With so many years of selling under her belt, Jeanette has sold items to people from every walk of life,
“I treat all my customers equally… I have sold a jacket to a homeless man and hats to the likes of Kylie Minogue and Tina Arena!”
