Hailing from Argentina, the duo behind ALOT created their unique brand once they touched down on Australian soil back in 2022. With dreams of travelling, meeting new people, and experiencing the local music scene, Frankie and Belu bought a van and began their journey along the East Coast, selling vintage at festivals along the way.

ALOT has one of the most recognisable curations in Australia’s vintage fashion scene. The pair combines inspiration from the rave scene, graffiti, street culture, skateboarding, and tattoo art to bring together a moody selection of Y2K pieces.
“Conceptually, ALOT is inspired by the philosophy of underground culture — rebellion, human connection, and art as a form of resistance. We’re Latin, so we find inspiration in Latincore, reggaetón, and trap music aesthetics. We’re nostalgic — we draw from our childhood and the early 2000s era that shaped us.”

If you, too, were from the era of Avril Lavigne, Britney Spears, and Eminem – ALOT is the shop for you.

One memorable event put together by the ALOT crew was their ‘Open Studio’ shoot day. The shoot featured a whole bunch of fellow MDG sellers, talented photographers, and local models to create a community-led day of content creation which benefited everyone involved.
“It’s not just about showcasing our work — it’s about co-creating, connecting, and breaking down barriers. It’s always a win-win: people feel seen and inspired, and we get to grow through the energy and diversity they bring.”

ALOT have also crossed state lines and is stocking a selection of their pieces in Melbourne’s Trasho Mondo store and Brisbane’s Memory Lane store.
As regulars across the local market scene, you will also see ALOT slinging vintage at events like Xchange, Second Life Market, and Fashion Thrift Society.
Alternatively, you can shop ALOT’s selection online via their website.

“We don’t really have a “typical” customer — and that’s exactly what makes ALOT special. Our eclectic style means there’s something for everyone. People from all walks of life can find a piece of themselves in what we do. Everyone is welcome, and everyone can connect with some part of our world. That inclusivity and versatility are what truly set us apart.”
