Scrapdogs is run by longtime collector of cool sh*t – Simon.
Simon enjoys travelling, live music, art and being a family man.
You’ll often find him eating in Chinatown, or being a shadowy figure lurking around the markets.

Scrapdogs offers up a wide variety of retro, vintage and antique items,
“You could say I’m non-discriminatory when it comes to making money,” says Simon.
However, his expertise lies in Garagenalia – a phrase foreign to Grandpa but he’s into it anyway!

Originally, Simon worked in the scrap metal trade and would put aside the more interesting items that came through his scrapyard.
With local collectors often coming by and purchasing his finds, Simon had the idea to transition into the vintage scene.
Vintage has been Simon’s schtick since 2016 and he has no plans on slowing down any time soon!

Like most other sellers, Simon’s favourite part of this gig is finding the cool stuff!
“I will never get tired of the hunt,” says Simon, “I will never get tired of the hunt, it’s definitely the thrill of the chase that keeps me going.”

Scrapdog’s customers take many forms.
With a successful Ebay operation, Simon ships items to buyers across the globe in the USA, New Zealand, Canada and the UK!
Mostly, Scrapdogs customers are cool people who enjoy cool stuff. There’s not much more to it!

Scrapdogs has multiple permanent fixtures within My Dead Grandpa, with seperate curations covering vintage clothing and homewares.

You can also find them on Ebay and at markets and swapmeets across South Australia and Victoria.
